Frisco's master-planned neighborhoods are built on Blackland Prairie with brick-and-stone homes, guard-gated estates, and rolling yards that demand turf that works in Texas heat and clay soil. Artificial grass has become the honest answer for thousands of Frisco homeowners who started with builder sod that died, dust bowls where dogs run, and yards that need to be ready for an event or a sale.
We've been installing synthetic turf in Frisco and the surrounding area since 2013. Our team knows the HOA rules that govern your front yard, the clay drainage problems that kill real sod, the summer heat that makes a yard unlivable, and how to build a turf installation that stays in place and looks right for years. We name the product, the face weight, the infill, and the base depth in writing. That's how you know what you're getting.
Artificial Grass Installation in Frisco, TX 75034
Frisco sits on heavy Blackland clay that sheds water in spring storms and bakes hard in summer. Builder-installed bermuda and St. Augustine sod often fails in the first year because the drainage isn't there. Dogs turn side yards into mud pits. Full sun on a south-facing slope can hit 100 degrees or hotter, and a lawn that looked fine in April is brown dust by July. Real grass in shade under mature live oaks and crape myrtles can work, but in open yards and dog runs, artificial turf solves the problem honestly.
Our team has installed turf in backyards behind cedar board-on-board fences, in front yards governed by HOA architectural rules, around pools and covered patios, in dog runs and play areas, and on rooftops and balconies in the townhome and mid-rise communities around Frisco Square. We've removed dead sod, fixed drainage, and repaired seams on turf that was installed by crews that cut corners. We handle the HOA submittal process for front-yard work and we walk you through what your neighborhood requires. We've been doing this work locally for over a decade.

How a Job Works in Frisco
You call us at (940) 289-5633 or reach out online, and we schedule a free on-site assessment. We look at the area, the sun exposure, the soil and drainage, any existing turf or sod that has to come out, access for our crew and equipment, and what your HOA rules require if it's a front-yard job. We talk through your options, the turf products that make sense for your yard, and what the work will cost. No pressure, no sales pitch.
When you're ready, we schedule the installation. We start by removing old sod or turf if that's needed. We grade the base for proper drainage, request Texas 811 utility locates to mark buried lines, and compact a stable base of recycled asphalt or engineered base material to the depth your turf needs. We lay the turf in sections, cut it to fit your property line and around obstacles, secure the seams, and install the infill (usually silica sand and rubber crumb for most residential yards, or a specialized infill for pet areas or heat reduction). For front-yard work, we help coordinate HOA approval before we start, and we handle the submittal if you need it.
When we're done, we clean up all scraps and debris, walk the yard with you, and make sure everything is right. Your property is left clean and ready to use.
Residential artificial grass installation in Frisco typically runs from $8 per square foot for a standard backyard turf, with pet turf starting at $10 per square foot, putting greens at $15 per square foot, and pool surrounds and patios at $9 per square foot. A 400 square foot backyard might run $3,200 to $4,000 installed, depending on the turf product, infill choice, and whether old sod has to be removed. A 1,000 square foot yard could run $8,000 to $12,000 or more, depending on the same factors. Removal of existing turf or sod starts at $2 per square foot. Repairs and seam work start at $350. The main cost drivers are the area you're covering, the turf product and its face weight, the type and amount of infill, the depth and quality of the base, any drainage work needed, and whether we're removing old lawn or turf first.
